Starfish Ring Holder
I think I'm officially
not myself. My real self would not be obsessing about stuff like a starfish theme. So now that i've officially morphed into an annoying bride....isn't this a cute idea? i'm thinking my son could give us our rings on the starfish. How cool.
Special thanks to Brooke Shwab photography for the awesome picture.

Homemade Confetti.
Usually I'm really not sure about how DIY projects will turn out, but I think that this home made confetti is really cute. It was made with a small paper punch, a medium paper punch and what looks like cellophane. how cut would it be to make some in our wedding colors but with starfish? Man, am I obsessed.

I think we have decided on Costa Rica.
So after much consideration, the Mr. and I have come to the conclusion that a destination wedding is really what we want to have. We have been asking around for recomendations and we found this little gem of a hotel called the CalaLuna. Its got like 7 rooms, and its very ethnic, and looks just perfect........

This is a picture of their villa. The hotel is kind of small,so idealy, all of our friends and family could stay there. I would love to get a salsa band and serve traditional Costa Rican food. Just. Perfect.

This is kind of cute. Kind of.
Hotel Punta Islita

This is another choice. I am thinking laid back, small destination wedding. I love the pool in each villa overlooking the ocean. Beautiful. Here is a link:

The Parker Palm Springs......Dream.....

Ok, so let us suffice to say that I am a big fan of 10,000 Wedding Blog spot. The Mr. (He's as sweet as they come) is paying for most of our wedding. Therefore, I can't be silly. I can't be all "we need to have a million peonies and petunias and a gerbera daisy for your boutinerre" type of girl. Lame, dumb and oh so not my style anyway.
So yes, we have a budget.
That being said, don't you think I should be able to have a 10,000k wedding for 50 people?? I mean, really??? Is that too much to ask? Evidently, if you live in Los Angeles, yes.
But what about Palm Springs?? I love the desert.....
What about the chic, cool, ever so pleasing to the palate Parker Palm Springs?
OK, well, the Parker might be able to work us a deal. On the Mr.'s Birthday. Which happens to be a Monday. Is that weird?? Ponder that, while you look at the above picture of a hotel which just makes me weak in the knees. WOW. Period.
