So after much consideration, the Mr. and I have come to the conclusion that a destination wedding is really what we want to have. We have been asking around for recomendations and we found this little gem of a hotel called the CalaLuna. Its got like 7 rooms, and its very ethnic, and looks just perfect........

This is a picture of their villa. The hotel is kind of small,so idealy, all of our friends and family could stay there. I would love to get a salsa band and serve traditional Costa Rican food. Just. Perfect.

I think this is just the perfect spot for sure. I checked tickets out...of course the price will change when the time gets closer but it's around $600 +/- from Raleigh, NC to Costa Rica. There are about 6 airports in Costa Rica so not sure which one I was supposed to put as the destination spot. But I think it's the same from each airport.
But then, fingers crossed, something changes with the oil issue and maybe by the time tickets are booked the price of oil will drop and then a chain reaction will occur and ticket prices will go down. Okay, maybe that's wishful thinking but you never know!
Next, I think you said March 2009? Depending on the total price tag for the tickets, it may just be me going and Tomas staying with the kids...but if he is deployed (which is a huge possibility) then it will be the kids and I going. Anyway! That is the thoughts coming from my end.
I'm so happy...no that is an understatement...I'm overjoyed/excited/etc that you found "the one" FOR REAL!!!!!
I found your blog through my sitemeter. Check out Lucky Me soon - we will have a Hometown Honeymoon on Costa Rica soon! Happy Planning.
